"These are the books I wished for when I was growing up, and the books I'm now creating for my own son."

Learning Kurdish Can Be Joyful!

Welcome to Kurmanji Books – a special place for families like yours.

Kurmanji Books was born from a desire to support families raising Kurdish children, especially those living outside of Kurdistan. As a Kurdish father from Sydney, Australia, creating these resources has been a personal journey.

Our bilingual English-Kurmanji books are thoughtfully designed to make language learning simple, playful, and deeply connected to everyday life. We believe that learning our beautiful language shouldn't feel like a chore, but like an exciting adventure.

Whether your child is just beginning to explore their first Kurdish words, or you're looking for engaging ways to hear the language spoken more often, we're here to help your family feel at home and confident in two languages.
